If Carter is so wrong, what makes you believe that there will be peace if Israel keeps violating U.N. resolutions, occupying and oppressing the Palestinians?

As far as this strategy promoting peace, has not history proven it wrong?

Further, through "The treaty of San Remo", the British recived mandate over Palestine. They where to favor an establishment of a Jewish national home, but "nothing should be done which might prejudice the civil and religious rights of existing non-Jewish communities in Palestine".
In 1946 Great Britain informed the U.N. of its desire to terminate the mandate, by May 1948. Resolution 181 was drafted and passed by the General Assembly, with Great Britains vote.

And by Great Britains approval of resolution 181 and subsequent fulfillment of its mandate by withdrawal from Palestine, does this represent a legal demarkation of borders between Israel and Palestine.
