The tragic story of Hussam Abdo

I just received a number of caricatures denouncing recent terrorist attempts to use children as death cult bombers against Israelis. It is obvious that many if not most Israelis view this latest strategy as utterly despicable, beneath the already abject contempt Israelis have for Palestinian terrorism.

It seems to me that people who blow up, shoot, and stab Israeli children, use civilians as camouflage and shields, and hide in ambulances, should have no moral reservations about enrolling their own (or rather, their neighbors') children in death cults. It doesn't help that even mainstream Palestinian organizations glorify death cult bombers are martyrs. (Al-Jazeerah, meanwhile, claims that this is an elaborate hoax "weaved" [sic] by "Israeli intelligence"). This is a typical example of the inability among Arab intellectuals to take any responsibility for their own societal problems.

But even stronger than my contempt for the people who sent these kids, is my pity for the poor children who were sent. The photographs of Hussam Abdo show a terrified boy who has to undress in front of soldiers who are prepared to shoot him dead if he makes one false move. With the help of a robot, he ends up kneeling in his underwear as heavily armed sappers move in.

This is hearbreaking stuff. Hussam Abdo, having been told again and again and again that all Jews are bloodthirsty descendants of pigs, was probably convinced he was going to be killed or worse.

And everyone knows the effects: from now on, even young children will be treated as suspects at Israeli checkpoints. And only in this atmosphere poisoned by craven antisemitism will it be socially acceptable to blame Jews.

I guess you want people to believe now that it justifies stoping ambulances over long periods of time at checkpoints or shooting at them.

As if you can't check quickly in 2 minutes.

Verify quickly, interior, clothing, chassis... and give clearance.

Instead you purposfuly waist time, a blatent terrorist act form IOF or IDF as you like to call them, I am sure.
